A 33-household cohousing community with 11 adjacent affordable townhouses.

Located north of San Francisco in Sonoma County, this development will occupy an oak forested five-acre site adjacent to a city park.  An active bio-swale meanders through the site beside the 3,000 square foot common house, complimenting the calm, natural setting.

Homes are “double-sided” so as to provide an attractive street frontage while addressing the internal common space of the community.  Passive solar design provides lots of natural light while protecting homes from the direct rays of the sun during the hot, dry seasons that so famously contribute to the award winning wines of the region.
