A mixed-use senior community designed to meet the needs of Nevada County seniors who want to remain in a rural area and live in a small town atmosphere that supports aging in place.

The 345-unit community will include a diversity of housing types that are clustered on 40 acres of the 215-acre site located on the Bear River close to Auburn and Grass Valley, CA. 80% of the site will be preserved as open space including historic oak groves, walking trails, and a working farm. Clustering of homes preserves open space to keep nature close at hand. Front porches and the location of houses along a rural lane encourages neighborly interaction and promotes walking.

At the center of the community will be a Village Center with commercial, educational and recreational space, as well as medical and other services.
