Gratitude Village is excited to host the Getting-It-Built (GIB) Workshop, a hands-on, project-based intensive designed to help future residents become true co-developers of their own cohousing community. Led by renowned cohousing architect and author Charles Durrett, this workshop has launched more successful cohousing communities across North America than any other method.
Local community leader Suzie Shride, who is working closely with Charles to bring Gratitude Village to life, is welcoming future residents, supporters, and interested participants to join this transformative experience as they move their Denver project toward reality.
The GIB Workshop provides a comprehensive, step-by-step roadmap—month by month—showing exactly how a cohousing community evolves from a shared vision into a fully built, thriving neighborhood. Participants gain the essential tools, knowledge, and confidence to make informed decisions at every stage of development. Whether or not a site has already been secured, the workshop meets the group where they are and helps move the project decisively forward.
